I’m got sort of hooked on Brooklyn’s Grand Rapids today. After I listened to their new EP for the third time in a row I tweeted something about them being your favorite new Pavement-esque band if you’re in to Pavement. Now, after my fifth listen today the P-ment thing still sort of holds, but I also pick up some early Pixies and Old 97’s and Television in their subconscious sounds. Dig their songs.
