Belfast’s Girls Names know how to rock right

3 May

The Belfast rock and roll band Girls Names remind me a bit of The Wedding Present, The Smiths, Orange Juice and the J&M Chain, which when done right, can be a really good thing. And this is. The band recently released their terrific debut album Dead To Me on Slumberland Records. These cats have a little surf rock drive in their indie-pop blood as well. Or maybe that’s just the reverb talking.
