Feelies Groovy

26 Jan

Hoboken NJ’s legendary and very seriously pre-internet jangly indie rock band The Feelies have a new album coming out on April 12th on Bar None Records called Here Now. It’s only been about 20 years since their last album of original material. The album was recorded at Water Music in Hoboken, New Jersey and was produced by Feelies founders Glenn Mercer and Bill Million along with the rest of the Feelies lineup including Brenda Sauter (bass, vocals), drummer Stanley Demeski, and Dave Weckerman on percussion. They return to Philly on June 17th at World Cafe Live.

Here’s a new song from the forthcoming album via Pitchfork
