The Southern Soul of Dylan LeBlanc

24 Jun

Just got this very sweet tune from the folks at Rough Trade about a new singer-songwriter named Dylan LeBlanc who hails from Shreveport, LA and now splits his time between there and Nashville. Rough Trade is releasing Dylan’s debut album, Pauper’s Field on August 24th. Citing 70’s classics by James Taylor, Carole King, Willis Alan Ramsey, Townes Van Zandt and Neil Young as early influences, he also spent time hanging out at Muscle Shoals. Sounds like Ryan might have a contender. And I even like that hint of Greg Allman in LeBlanc’s vocals. Download the song below then check out the video.
