Karen Dalton’s In My Own Time

16 Oct
Karen Dalton’s classic folk album In My Own Time is being being reissued by Light In The Attic.

The late Dalton was an inspiration for many artists, from Dylan to Devendra, from Lucinda Williams to Joanna Newsom. Recorded over a six month period in 1970/71 at the legendary Bearsville Studios, In My Own Time was Dalton’s only studio album. The material was carefully selected and crafted for her by producer/musician Harvey Brooks, who played bass on Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited” and Miles’ “Bitches Brew”.

This beautiful collection of music on CD and a limited 180 gram LP is available now.
